AIUM Accreditation Demonstrates Superior Competency in Ultrasound - Here at Sioux Valley Clinic Maternal-Fetal Medicine we demonstrate the importance of excellent patient care and strive for high-quality ultrasound examinations. SVC MFM Ultrasound Diagnostic Center has recently become accredited in obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound through the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM).
The AIUM has developed quality standards for the accreditation of ultrasound practices through out the United States. Our Ultrasound Diagnostic Center has demonstrated superior competency in all aspects of their operation standards, education requirements and training of physicians and sonographers, ultrasound equipment maintenance, document storage, accuracy in diagnosis and policies safeguarding patients and personnel.
