• Let us be the first to offer official congratulations! Your initial Obstetrical Visit takes about one hour with our OB Nurse Educator, who along with you, will complete a health history and a pregnancy profile.
• At your initial visit with your OB doctor - around 12 weeks - you will be given a complete exam which includes a pelvic exam, Pap smear, breast exam and lab cultures for sexually transmitted diseases.
• If you are trying to get pregnant, our fertility and genetics experts will strive to make your dream come true.
• If you are deemed to be high-risk, our team of maternal-fetal medicine specialists will provide the highest level of care for you and your unborn baby.
• A team of highly trained obstetrics and gynecology physicians who work alongside family medicine physicians and certified nurse midwives with one goal in mind - your healthy baby.
• The only hospital in the area with in-house specialists available to mother and child 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
• Educational classes brought to you by The Birth Place, are dedicated to arming you with the tools to prepare you for your new bundle of joy.
• Postpartum care from your physicians, the lactation team and support groups to guide you through the joys of motherhood.
